The 2010 Nissan Maxima still stands tall as Nissan’s flagship sedan entering into the performance and luxury segment as the infamous 4-door sports car. A 290hp 3.5-liter VQ series V6 engine delivering power to the front wheels through a CVT transmission does not make the new Maxima “soft” by any means. It is firmly planted and means business. The new styling of the Maxima introduced in 2009 adds a boldness appeal that gets some design cues from its beastly brother, the Nissan GT-R. Nissan is known for solid drivetrains and the new Maxima does not sway from that tradition.

Here are images and information on the highlighted concept vehicles found at this years Detroit Auto Show. Enjoy! Audi e-tron Who says green-tech can’t be fast or sporty. Well Audi will be one in the fore-front of turning an electric car into a performance luxury sports car. The Audi e-tron is based off of the Audi R8 design but in a much smaller form.

The all-new 2010 Mazda 3s 4-door Grand Touring edition offers the consumer bolder styling, more power and performance, more comfortable interior and added standard safety systems. The car is an overall sophistication that ventures beyond the sport-compact segment to rival import models costing thousands more. Realizing that the Zoom-Zoom emotional spirit is both static and dynamic, Mazda gave the new 3i a more expressive and sophisticated interior and exterior with added sportiness. New features-many of which are borrowed from the new Mazda6-are also introduced in here with the aid of exceeding constantly rising consumer expectations. Ultimately, Mazda designed and engineered a whole new Mazda3 that blends the best of the first-generation with large and small refinements in countless areas. It begins with the bold grille that is purposely polarizing. It is the new ‘face’ of Mazda

AutomotiveAddicts.com had the chance to go to an exclusive revealing of the new Porsche Panamera. The event began with Porsche North America president, Detlev Von Platen, discussing the design aspects and highlights of the new 4-door Porsche. Later it was capped off with the introduction of all 3 models, the Panamera S, Panamera 4S and the 500hp Panamera Turbo. All vehicles were on display for the public to drool over while we were able to catch some live images in the process. It was truly a treat to see a new sports sedan “in the flesh” which is capable of achieving such a high level of performance that was once only found in exotic sports cars.
One of the latest concepts from Lamborghini was somehow photographed on the streets in Cologne, Germany. Recent speculation said that this car was not going to be produced, let alone appearing in what seemed to be a shot-shoot. The Lamborghini Estoque, if you have been keeping up, is slated as Lamborghini’s 4-door vehicle to be put up against exotic sports sedans such as the new Bugatti 16C Galibier , Porsche Panamera and Aston Martin Rapide . Reportedly, Lamborghini said months ago, “No decision has been made to produce the Estoque.” So, with that said, draw your own conclusions.
All of this time we have seen several renderings and heard of the many speculations about Bugatti building a 4-door Veyron and now, it has become a reality. The 4-door Bugatti will not be called a Veyron but rather called the Bugatti 16C Galibier. Just before the opening of the Frankfurt Motor Show this week, we get to witness what a “4-door Veyron” would actually look like. YAY! The Bugatti Galibier was unveiled at a private event for past Bugatti customers in Molsheim, France. Powering the new Bugatti Galibier concept is a front-mounted version of the same W16 turbocharged engine that is found in the Veyron

Maybe Jon Sibal had the same thoughts, that could be the reason for him rendering such a masterpiece out of the Porsche Panamera. The guys at speedmotiv.com tipped us off on this artwork via Jon Sibal’s deviantART profile . Hi-Res Image - (click image) Jon’s comments on his art work below: Artist’s Comments The shape and design of the Porsche Panamera took a bit for me to start liking it but with more official and live pictures posted, it started to grow on me. I’ve patterned the front bumper from the TECHART GTStreet R line for the Porsche 911 Turbo, the side skirts is of my own design as well as the vent cover in the front fenders. All the chrome trims in the headlight surrounds and window trim were blacked out and the side view mirror cover are all in Carbon Fiber
