Hometown favorite Kurt Busch won the pole for Sunday afternoon’s Shelby American 427 on a record-setting Friday afternoon at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Busch, a Las Vegas native, was among 18 drivers who broke the old track qualifying record of 185.
